LS Fest Family and Friends
This years Elgin team included: an engineer from our factory for 50+ years, a race engine builder of 40+ years, a national sales and marketing manager of 30+ years, a vice president of 20+ years, and new tech guy of only 7+ years.
We had friends and family visit us from around the country, plus made dozens of new friend and connections in both the hobby and race industry! We had 5 days of perfect weather full of racing: drag, autocross, drift, road course, off road, and dyno!
LS Fest Cars and Community
The vibe at the Elgin booth in 2024 was like a movie for Elgin Pro Stock and the Sloppy Stage camshafts.
We were action packed with Grand Championship competitor race cars, 1000+ wheel-horsepower twin-turbo show-and-go muscle cars, bracket-drag race and heads-up no-prep racers, classic LS swapped vintage muscle, short-bed step-side muscle trucks, and best-of-show painted-not-wrapped super cars.
Thank you everyone that stopped by to say hi, and everyone that brought the Elgin Pro Stock powered rides to park and hang out for a while. We’re still glowing from the event and excited for next year!
Champions and Awards
As sponsor of the 3S Challenge, Elgin awarded camshafts and pushrods to the champions.
The Vintage Class was won by Nathan and his red Camaro. He plans to install the cam into his next project, and LS swap K5 Blazer.
Dallas won the Late Model Class of our Elgin 3S Challenge in his less-than-one-week-old E-Ray, then he went on to become the points total Grand Champion. Congrats again Elgin Winners!
